Former Orange resident, Carrie Woliver, and husband, Ron, were moved to save the historical depot when they visited in 2012.  It was vacant and had been deteriorating for years.  The Wolivers formed the Friends of the Orange Depot organization, bought the building and with the help of many volunteers and donors, restored it to its former glory.  Today it serves as an event center and museum for residents and visitors to enjoy.
